Dr. John G. Murray Jr., DC
46 years in practice · SOT certified · NAS super-slow training protocol certified
Dr. John Murray founded Murray Chiropractic in June 1980 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic — the oldest chiropractic school in the United States. He has lived in Clinton since 1965 and has practiced from the current home office at 10 Anderson Road since December 1986. In the 46 years since graduating, he has personally performed over 1.1 million adjustments and built one of the busiest chiropractic practices in New Jersey, serving generations of Hunterdon County families.
Dr. John continues to see patients daily and anchors the practice's Aging with Grace program — chiropractic care designed for seniors who want to maintain mobility, reduce pain, and stay active. At 70, Dr. John takes no medications and remains active in his practice and his community. His certification in the NAS (Nautilus Advanced Strength) manual super-slow training protocol directly informs how he works with senior patients on strength preservation, functional capacity, and longevity.
Dr. John has been adjusting children for 45 years, including patients under one year of age. He is also Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) certified, which informs the practice's prenatal care approach for expectant mothers dealing with sacroiliac joint issues common during pregnancy.
During his time at Palmer, Dr. John was a member of the college's national championship rugby team in 1978. The athletic background continues to inform his clinical approach to active patients of all ages.
Chiropractic, through personally being adjusted at 17, changed my life. It gave me a cadence — and an innate feeling that it was just right for me. I had no plans for college or chiropractic, but it moved me emotionally to provide a vital, service-based approach to health and chiropractic healing.
